Is your base surface not rectangular?  (i.e. >4 sides) We have a bug 
in that and it reports non-overlap even when they are okay, sometimes.

You could also describe a smaller window and use multipliers (off the 
subject but an idea).

If you can't figure it out, upload the file or send it to me.
