Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Eplus crash heat pump w/ and w/o OA

Paul, the condenser side of the water-to-air heat pump is falling to -5C
and returning a 0 for water density. The condenser mass flow rate is
calculated as Volumetric flow rate (0.008) multiplied by density (0) = 0
kg/s. This number is used as the denominator in several places in the
code. So that is why the simulation is crashing with a divide by 0 error.

We have marked this as a problem and will forward this file to the
correct person to address this issue. Thank you for bringing this
problem to the attention of the EnergyPlus support group.

For now, try changing the fluid type to glycol and see what happens. If
that does not correct the problem you may be able to manually change the
performance of the HP's to avoid such low condensing temperatures by
manually changing coil capacity, air flow rate, etc. to avoid this
error, or change to a different type of AC system all together.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
