Hi Lorenzo,

The solar profile angle is "the angle of incidence in a plane that is 
perpendicular to the window plane and to the direction of the slats."  
The profile angle accounts for the combination of solar altitude and 
azimuth, and window and slat orientation.  Looking only at the solar 
altitude will not give the proper angle of incidence for varying window 
and slat orientations.
