Hi!

For a start reference to energy plus Documentation:
"Auxiliary programs" at the "Weather Converter
Program" section.
On pages 40 to 46 you can see which climatic
parameters are necessary for the weather file.

If you want to "compose" an EPW file a way to do it is
to use the "Weather statistics and conversions"
program (that is installed in the E+ folder on your
hard drive).
Convert an existing EPW file to an CSV file and use it
as a base for your Weather file. Change what you want
with a spreed-sheet program (Excel etc) and convert
your csv file to EPW.
Take account of your regional settings of ", . and ;"
(comma, point) while processing the data.
