Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Report meter file??



The default output units for EnergyPlus energy meters is [J] (not kJ).  For 
REPORT METER output, you can use the convertESOMTR utility to convert values to 
different units.  See "convertESOMTR" in the Auxliliary Programs document.  The 
default convert.txt file contains many active conversions to convert from SI to 
IP units.  You can create your own convert.txt file which only converts 
electric meters to kWh.

Also, when you go to this folder to edit convert.txt  

C:\EnergyPlusV2-0-0\PostProcess\convertESOMTRpgm\

please ignore the Readme.txt file; it is out of date.
