RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] why enrgy consume always (almost) same for cooling and heating a whole year????
It is difficult to say, but it could be that the heating is actually
reheat. (Because of humidity, cooling systems often need to overcool to
dry out the supply air and then reheat is used to avoid over cooling the
space.) Unfortunately, in EnergyPlus it can be difficult to know what
part of the heating energy is actually being used for reheat. One way
to tell is to look at when and why the heating and cooling is occurring
by reporting timestep frequency data for component energy use and air
node temperatures before and after the coils.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] why enrgy consume always (almost) same for
cooling and heating a whole year????
hi,
i'm so confusing with my energy simulation results.
i don't know why cooling energy consume not more bigger than heating
energy consume when summer season. it's also happened when winter
season, cooling energy rate always as big as heating energy rate.
i don't know why,,,is scheduling caused this "weird" result???
so, should i turn-off cooling devices when winter season and turn-off
heating devices when summer season??? i don't know,,in Indonesia just
cooling a whole year,,,so i've no idea about it.thanks for your advices.
regards
