[EnergyPlus_Support] water:glycol heat exchanger
I'm attempting to model a plant that transfers heat produced by the
plant from a water loop to a glycol loop that serves the AHU heating
coils via a plate-and-frame water:glycol heat exchanger. The only way
that I can think of is to adjust the efficiency of the boilers in some
way to compensate for the inefficiencies of the heat exchanger, and
also adding some ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT objects to compensate for the
pumps on the glycol loop, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a more
precise method.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot,
Josh
