RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] V2.0 electric generator - change: baseload to track schedule

Miguel,

I took a look at your file--it sure does crash in Version 2.0. I found that if you raise the values for "Maximum Temp for Heat Recovery" in the Generator input objects to 99.C, then that bit of code won't execute and serves as a workaround for the hard crash.

I would recommend upgrading to the recent version 2.1 because of the major changes in modeling of indirectly-heated water tanks.

This file is based on the example file HeatRecoveryPlantLoop.idf; please note that example file was improved for Version 2.1 and you'll need to make some similar changes.

Dear Linda:

Thanks for your help. The file is already in the problems area, it is the
zip file cogeneration.zip. There you could find, the idf file and and csv
need for a schedule. The file should be working fine, but If you change the
generator scheme from baseload to track schedule your will have a crash
(with no warning in my computer).

Thanks in advance.
