[EnergyPlus_Support] Central plant modeling

I would like to know if it is possible to model a central plant without
having to model the building itself. Monitored data, such as
entering/leaving water temperature, would be used as the input
parameters for the plant instead of simulating the "entire" building.
If that is possible, what is the best way to enter the information
without getting severe errors for not having the building construction,
HVAC secondary systems defined. Thank you for your help.
Danielle
