Yes, this is the report variable you want. This variables reports values from
0 to 1 and 0 to -1, even though the variable definition in the Input Output
Reference says it will only be from 0 to 1. When the value is negative, the
sun is "behind" the surface. If you also report "Surface Ext Solar Beam
Incident", you will see that it is alwasy zero when the cosine is negative.
