Yes, you can use a pair of MIXING objects or a CROSS MIXING object.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Defining Horizontal AirlFlow "Holes"
Dear All,
I´m modelling a small building in which there is a stairway connecting
the two existing floors. I created two starway zones, one for each
floor but in reality they are just one. Is there a possibility to
define a horizontal airflow "hole" in such way that the two zones are
in fact one but there is air circulating between them?
Thanks for the help
Nuno
