[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Electric components start-up model



Dear Ana,

Even if they do (which I don't know, but doubt), the startup current
normally lasts only a second or two.  As a result, it has almost no
impact on energy consumption.  While this can affect the demand for
customers with demand charges, it's not normally an issue unless a
very large load is started (or multiple smaller loads started
simultaneously).
