RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Error importing IDF in Sketchup

So we can safely remove statements from DesignBuilder IDF output:

LEAD INPUT
END LEAD INPUT
SIMULATION DATA
END SIMULATION DATA

?

Hi Justin,

You can safely ignore those errors. DesignBuilder adds a few lines to the
IDF that are not really input objects ("Lead Input" and the others) which
confuses the plugin a little bit but does no real harm. This is already on
the list to be fixed in the next release.

Thanks,
P

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Error importing IDF in Sketchup

Hi,

I got the following error when importing an idf generated from design
builder.

Error: InputObject encountered with no definition in the DataDictionary
(IDD): LEAD INPUT
Maybe the wrong IDD version or input file is out-of-date.

Error: InputObject encountered with no definition in the DataDictionary
(IDD): END LEAD INPUT
Maybe the wrong IDD version or input file is out-of-date.

Error: InputObject encountered with no definition in the DataDictionary
(IDD): SIMULATION DATA
Maybe the wrong IDD version or input file is out-of-date.

Error: InputObject encountered with no definition in the DataDictionary
(IDD): END SIMULATION DATA
Maybe the wrong IDD version or input file is out-of-date.

Any comments will be appreciated.

Best Regards,
Justin
