I am also working on a two-storey 8 meter high North, Center and South zones
connected by central spine connecting the 24 meter x 8.5 meter zones. The 24
meters face north and south. There are two 2-meter high stacks above the
roof directly above the stair wells. The two stair wells are located at the
spines between the three zones.

 

There are louvered windows on the north and south walls of the zones as well
as the stacks. I would also like to know how to simulate the draft (natural
ventilation?) from the louvered windows at the bottom to those at the top. I
would also like to know the effect of these stacks to induce air from the
bottom level through the stair well to top level. 

 

Two 24 meter length 1.5 meter diameter concrete ducts (earth tubes) are also
being placed on the ground below each zone to supply better temperature air
to the 6 (3 per level x 2 levels) air handlers (fans) for heating and
cooling. The building is 40 degrees south latitude.
