RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] CHP simulation results

Your input object ELECTRIC LOAD CENTER:GENERATORS has a error. Because
the thermal to electric ratio is set to 0.0, the generators never come
on. The "2.444" value for this ratio needs to be in the next field up.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] CHP simulation results

Dear Forum,

We want to model the energy balance of a 30 floor high carbon neutral
building. For this we got one floor of this building and through
energy plus we are trying to see the effect of various installations
to this floor before we make the simulation for the whole building.
The simulation that we made for the CHP had some errors in the
beginning that we fixed. Despite the absence of fatal errors the
results of our simulation, from the exEso file were very strange. The
CHP is not producing any electricity and the thermal energy appears to
be negative. Also the fuel consumption LHV and HHV are zero. The file
was made in accordance to the new EnergyPlus version example. I really
cannot find out what is wrong. The SVG file seems fine and all the
objects seem to be correct.

Is there something that we are missing? I will also upload the file.
Thank you.

Regards

Tasos Ioannou
