[EnergyPlus_Support] Does the DesignDay have special operational features?

Dear E+ Forum,

It appears that my Summer DesignDay never uses the economizer.  The
amount of outdoor air remains always at the minimum amount.  For
normal days, the economizer works as expected.
Is this a "special feature" of a DesignDay?
