Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] help needed regarding example files
Notice the Run Control object in example 1A. It says to not do the
weather file simulation. This file also does not have a RunPeriod object
to tell the simulation which days to simulate from the weather file.
RUN CONTROL,
No, !- Do the zone sizing calculation
No, !- Do the system sizing calculation
No, !- Do the plant sizing calculation
Yes, !- Do the design day simulations
No; !- Do the weather file simulation
You will need to add a RunPeriod object. Example below.
RunPeriod,

12, !- End Day Of Month
UseWeatherFile, !- Day Of Week For Start Day
Yes, !- Use WeatherFile Holidays/Special Days
