[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: help needed regarding example files
I have tried running the example file Exercise1A.
There was no problem when both DesignDay and WeatherFile were
selected.
If only the WeatherFile is selected to run, without selecting the
DesignDay option, the program did not complete, although the error
message showed 0 Severe Errors as below.
************* EnergyPlus Completed Successfully-- 2 Warning; 0
Severe Errors; Elapsed Time=00hr 00min 1.51sec
However, the error message, 1887 byte long, do have all the warnings
showing the problems. I did turn on the diagnostic with etra
messages. I think it is due to the fact that program cannot do the
WeatherFile simulation before completing sizing, etc., without
running the DesignDay simulation.
The DesignDay simulation has the run object imbedded, and it does not
use the wheather file.
