[EnergyPlus_Support] Roof Heat Transfer

Hi,

I tried to simulate a building in tropics, and I want to prove that
applying roof insulation will reduce the cooling energy demand.
However, when I simulate the building without roof insulation (using
design builder), I found that the heat gain on the roof (material :
lightweight metalic cladding, 0.135 m) is very small compared to the
availability solar radiation.
I want to investigate the validity of this simulation using Energy
Plus. Could you please explain, how to know the surface heat transfer
of the roof and the temperature of the roof using Energy Plus?

Thanks,
Rahmi
