[EnergyPlus_Support] Curved Surfaces Question

Hi,
 
I'm new to Energy Plus.  I have a question that I couldn't find direct answer for in the documentation.
 
- Does Energy Plus accept only planar surfaces?

- Also, should a curved wall or a dome for example be remodeled into smaller surfaces before they could successfully be processed?  Is there other ways to simulate curved surfaces?
 
Any help will be much appreciated.
