[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Regarding Energy modeling

Dear Anoop,

LEED certification must include at least two EA credits for projects
registered after June 26, 2007. To achieve those credits, an energy
analysis must be conducted using any of several analysis programs (of
which Energy Plus is one). The analysis must include the entire
building, including a basement.

More detail is available from the usgbc.org website and the ASHRAE
90.1 Energy Standard.
