[EnergyPlus_Support] Mean air temperatures and PurchasedAir

Dear all,

I've been testing the example file PurchAirTables.idf with the
weather file for Chicago O'Hare (the one that comes with the program
installation).

However, there are certain results that don't seem logical to me, I'm
mentioning some dates that stand out:

1-During winter, on Jan/02, 16:00hrs, setpoint is 20C while Mean Air
Temperature of "Resistive Zone" (the only one with a single pane
window) is 24C.

2-On Jan/10, 16:00hrs, same setpoint but Mean Air Temperature of
Resistive Zone is 32C (!!) and on East Zone is 24

3-During summer setpoint months, all mean air temperatures during
working hours reach exactly the desired setpoint (23C)

4-September (Month 09) is defined as a "cooling" month while outside
temperatures are in the range of 14-15C.

So my questions are:
A) Shouldn't the PurchasedAir operate only up to the point where it
provides the desired setpoint? Seems like it is working even if
internal loads can help reach the setpoint.

B) Why should there be such a sharp contrast between cooling and
heating temperature reporting?

Although energy reporting might be close to what the building
consumes, there seems to be a mismatch with internal temperatures
using PurchasedAir.

Many thanks,

Carlos
