Possible but it will take some changes in your IDF and
objects-- as the sub-surface has slightly different fields.
One suggestion. Open the IDF Editor and create a new
IDF with only two objects -- a heat transfer surface and a sub-surface.
Don't need to put any data in. Save the IDF -- the IDF Editor will put
comments identifying the fields in the correct order (even when blank) and the
units.
Then open that IDF in a text editor (or print it
out). Use that as an example of how to change your incorrect heat transfer
objects to sub-surfaces.
