Early registration deadline has been extended to August 29,
2008 for Introduction to DesignBuilder and EnergyPlus workshop, scheduled
for September 17-19 at Arlington Heights, IL.
The
objective of this workshop is to introduce DesignBuilder and EnergyPlus to
users who are familiar with the basic concepts of HVAC systems and energy
simulation. The course will cover the mechanics of using DesignBuilder and
EnergyPlus with an emphasis on basic concepts that provide a foundation for
more advanced applications. Participants will model basic building envelopes
and systems on their own laptop computers. Time for questions and answers will

A fully functional 3 months evaluation
version of DesignBuilder will be distributed to all trainees at the training
venue. A sneak preview of DesignBuilder CFD Beta will also be presented
at this workshop.
