Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Ventilation heat losses / gains
Ana:
Your observation is right. Results of the ventilation heat gain are not
right. The problem is that the report variable of ventilation sensible heat
gain was not initialized. The problem was raised after Version 2.2 release
and was fixed for the next release (CR 7519). Results of the ventilation
heat loss are correct. The workaround is to use infiltration objects instead
of ventilation objects, since you don't use fan power.
Please let me know if you have any problems.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Ventilation heat losses / gains
Hi.
Kind of urgently...
Any ideia why the ventilation heat gain in a Summer week (both sensible
and total) would be of a much higher order of magnitude than the
ventilations loss in a Winter week?
Ventilation is done using AirFlow»Ventilation objects with ero "Fan
Pressure Rise" and I'm just using Purchased Air to control
temperatures, so there shouldn't be any temperature rise due HVAC
components?...
I uploaded a file with some prt screens of these graphic results, to
facilitate interpretation.
Appreciate any help...
Ana.
