[EnergyPlus_Support] No gas consumption on Boiler

Dear E+ Support,

I'm modelling a building with baseboard heater:water:convective object providing heating to a
given zone. The associated plant uses a Boiler:Simple object (using natural gas) to heat the
water in the plant loop (using plant sizing). From the simulation results the baseboard heater
appears to be heating the zone in which it is placed.

I want to report on the energy consumption of the boiler so created a Gas:Plant Report Meter.
The results, however, show no gas energy consumption.

Before adding the plant sizing I had set the flow rates in the system manually. The Gas:Plant
Report Meter was reporting a gas energy consumption but the zone temperatures were lower
than expected, which is why I added plant sizing.

Based on the above information does anyone know of reasons why the gas:plant report
meter now reports zero gas energy use?

Regards,

Stefan
