If you're in V3.0 and the object is "extensible"
(has a \extensible), it is automatically expanded.

If you're in an earlier version, you will have to hand edit the IDD (only
if it says it is extensible) to include the correct number of fields for
your object.

I believe both Zone Splitter and Mixer are extensible.
