[EnergyPlus_Support] Air layers in DOE 2.1E

It is my understanding that DOE 2.1E automatically assigns an hourly 
air film value for the exterior of an envelope assembly based on the 
weather file.

Does 2.1E also select an air film value for the inside of an envelope 
assembly automatically, or does that need to be assigned by the user 
when setting up the simulation?
