[EnergyPlus_Support] How does the site to source energy conversion work?
I have this question in my back burner for a while.
This is related to the energy use of “purchased air” for heating and cooling in simulation report.
I wonder what the assumed “Site” to “Source” energy conversion factors of purchased cooling, purchased heating as well as other electric and natural gas equipments are in the ABUPS (Annual Building Utility Performance Summary) report?
I get the number of 3.2 by dividing the total source energy by the total site energy. I cannot come up with any good explanation how this number is derived.
Thanks!
Chiou
