RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] EzPlus-Parm (parametric simulation)

Ditto.  We do thousands and tens of thousands of runs using a templating system in the Perl language.  In my experience virtually every parametric analysis has its own distinctives that depart from any simple "full factorial" design, so you're better off rolling your own with a full-fledged scripting language.

Hey.
We do tons of parametric modeling.  I don't know about ExPlus-Parm, but it is quite easy to script up a multi-run parametric model using the EpMacro scripting language described in the documentation.  There are a couple of example files in the EPlus Yahoo downloads.  Those are pretty simple, but the language is quite powerful.  We have also done some Python scripts to make file generation, EPG generation and output analysis quicker and we regularly create, run and analyze a few thousand runs at a time in a matter of hours.
Go for it.

Dear EnergyPlus forum,
I cannot access to the EzPlus-Parm program (running multiple parametric EnergyPlus simulations) from the
Third-Party EnergyPlus Tools web page (http://apps1.eere.energy.gov/buildings/energyplus/third_party_tools.cfm).
I cannot neither download it from the web.
Does anybody know where can I get it and did anybody use it?
Thanks in advance

Giorgio
