RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Program Crash during Sizing using Baseboard:RadiantConvective:Water

Hi Aymeric,

You may be interested to know that DesignBuilder v.2 implements the
Baseboard:RadiantConvective:Water system. Select a DesignBuilder Compact
unitary single HVAC system and set the radiant fraction to a value greater
than 0 and request that the baseboard heater replaces the main unitary
heating coil and DB will generate the correct IDF data. The new version will
be available next week.

Regards,

Andy

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Program Crash during Sizing using
Baseboard:RadiantConvective:Water

Hi,

I am willing to use the new object Baseboard:RadiantConvective:Water.
Initially, I was using DesignBuilder and the IdealLoadAirSystem. But now I
want to replace the ideal system with the real one.

I started in 1 zone and I successfully implemented it;
But now that I want to put another one, in another zone of course, the
program crashes during the sizing process, I cannot even see the errors, it
crashes before.
Using the option "pause during simulation" I could see it is related to the
sizing process but I can't find out what's wrong. I tries several
configurations on the demand side, in series, parallel, and with constant
speed or variable speed water pumps. None of this influences the crash.

Do you have any idea?

Thanks a lot
Aymeric
