Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] how to size component and plant
Equipment is autosized by specifying the word "autosize" for specific
inputs in various equipment objects. See example file 5ZoneWaterSystems.
For example, in 5ZoneWaterSystems.idf the maximum flow rate in the hot
water plant can be autosized. The use of autosizing requires sizing
objects to specify design intent.

Equipment connected to the plant can also be autosized in a similar
manner and require zone and system sizing objects. It is usually better
to autosize all equipment in a simulation instead of manually sizing
some equipment and autosizing other equipment.
