Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Changing the capacity of an electric baseboard during the day
I would use 3 baseboards (800W, 1000W, 1500W) in the zone and use the
availability schedule for each baseboard to "schedule" the one you want
at specific times.
For example:
ZoneHVAC:Baseboard:Convective:Electric,
Baseboard1, !- Name
BBAvailabilitySchedule2, !- Availability Schedule Name
1000, !- Nominal Capacity (W)
Schedule:Compact,
BBAvailabilitySchedule2, !- Name
AnyNumber, !- Schedule Type Limits Name
Through: 12/31, !- Field 1
FOR: AllDays, !- Field 2
UNTIL: 8:00, 1, !- Field 4
UNTIL:12:00, 0, !- Field 6
UNTIL:14:00, 1, !- Field 8
UNTIL: 24:00, 0; !- Field 10
