It is saved as an idf file, I can open it
as idf file but not when using EP launch.

fine unless it was too big for Notepad. What happened? Did it maybe
add a new extension? You can put the name in " I believe to save
just as you want.
Bigger files can be edited with WordPad but then you have to be careful how you
save it.
