Although you did not give any indication of what didn’t
work (simulation errors? you don’t know what to do with the imf file?
etc), it’s worth noting that the documentation for the DOE2 translator
states that it only translates DOE2.1e files, not DOE2.2. DOE2.2 has a number
of input file differences from DOE2.1e that are not supported by the tool.

Is there a way to convert DOE2.2 file to
EnergyPlus idf file? I used DOE2Translator.exe that converted DOE2.2 file to
*.imf file. But I am not able to run *.imf file with EnergyPlus. Any
