You can have negative coordinates.  You may get warning messages if you have negative coordinates but the outside boundary condition is NOT ground (or adiabatic) -- i.e., you'll get warning messages on a walk out basement.

I have already describe a building in E+ (starting with 0.0.0 at axes for the ground floor)
and now i want to insert a basement.
Should i start from the beginning, with basement at 0.0.0 or i can have negative coordinates for the basement?
