Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] building level reporting

It does not allow me to add "watt" variable since it is not listed on Output:Meter or Output: variables list

The input field I have is:
!-   ===========  ALL OBJECTS IN CLASS: METER:CUSTOM ===========

Meter:Custom,
    TestDB,                  !- Name
    Generic,                 !- Fuel Type
    tt,                  !- Key Name 1
    Electricity:Facility;    !- Report Variable or Meter Name 1

So what is missing? Can you give an example on this?

Thanks,

Bing

If you search for "custom" you will find Meter:Custom is described on page 24 (PDF pags 69) of the Input Output Reference.

I would try the "generic" fuel category and see if it will let you add a "watt" variable.  But it may not, the variables, as I remember, need to be "summed" variables like all the other Meter variables.
