[EnergyPlus_Support] Temperature Control on Earth Tubes

Dear Forum,

I am modeling Earth Tubes and I would like to optimize their operation schedule. I know is possible to assign a control on the thermal zone temperature by defining values for "minimum zone T when cooling" and "maximum zone T when heating". Nevertheless the building I am modeling has got heating/cooling thermostat setpoints, which means the temperature in the thermal zone is always kept at the setpoint values, by the energy consumptions vary according to how good the ET are performing.
Is there any way to define a control on the zone air inlet temperature (i.e. of the air out of the ET)?
I would like to shut the ET off when the inlet air temperature in the zone is lower than the Tout during winter and higher than the Tout during summer.
The only way I figured out to do that is running a simulation with ET always ON, then check the output for Tout and Tinlet and re-run the model with the optimized schedule...but this is not ideal....

thanks!

Marzia
