Hi everybody,
I am working on a model of ventilated façade to assess the performance of it and so I am using the "SurfaceProperty:ExteriorNaturalVentedCavity" object as well as the "SurfaceProperty:OtherSideConditionsModel".
I have searched on the I/O Reference and on the Engineering Reference to know what "Height Scale for Buoyancy-Driven Ventilation" means but I still do not have a clue. What is its unit? Metre or is it dimensionless? Am I supposed to omit it for vertical surfaces or not? The Reference says it must be used only for near horizontal surfaces but I have just read a message that says it must be entered regardless the tilt of the surface. Besides that, the model with the VentedCavity object presents a cooling greater that the model without it (for Sao Paulo weather file).
Could anyone help me? And is there a example file of ventilated façade? I cannot find it.
Thank you,
Rodrigo.
