RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Zone Infiltration-Flow coefficient model

Navisa,

The ZoneInfiltration:FlowCoefficent model is described in the ASHRAE handbook of fundamentals (Chapter 27 in the 2005 edition). The flow Coefficient is a property of the building determined using a blower door test and can also be derived from a leakage area. The other coefficients are tabulated in the ASHRAE chapter for various building heights, foundations, etc.

Hope that helps,

Neal Kruis

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Zone Infiltration-Flow coefficient model

While using this model to simulate infiltration, how do we arrive upon the flow coefficients to be entered? How do we combine all surfaces i.e doors, windows, external walls, roof for these coefficient values?
Thanks,
Navisa Jain
