[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Why cannot Energeplus replace DOE2 in the field?



In my opinion, they may share this market because of their different characters. E+'s big problems are long simulation time and no user friendly interface. Moreover, its sophiscated model construction process sometimes is exhausting until you have spent half a year on it, so if there are some guidelines which are consentrated on how to construct a specific model rather than just systax explanation or simple system description, E+ will be further accepted.
