Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Custom Weather File, constant radiation

So is there a way to modify EnergyPlus to change the hours that it thinks the sun is up?

Thanks.

You can, of course, have a hand manipulation that would put the values in.

However, even if you do that, EnergyPlus will ignore all radiation when the sun is down.

I'm trying to create a custom weather file with a constant radiation value 24-hours a day. I have modified the .CSV file accordingly, but when I use Weatherconverter to create an .EPW file the radiation is only applied during daylight hours (as seen in my output report after running a simulation).

Is there a way to override this? How about an easy way to directly modify an .EPW file without using the Weatherconverter utility?
