Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Coil: DX: Single Cooling question

To develop the parameters for Coil:Cooling:DX:SingleSpeed, you need to obtain performance data for capacity and electric power consumption either from the coil manufacturer or from measurements.

Then you need to curve fit the data using the equation form(s) shown in the EnergyPlus Engineering Reference (search for "Single-Speed Electric DX Air Cooling Coil").

There are various example files located in the \ExampleFiles folder which also contain the object Coil:Cooling:DX:SingleSpeed and its associated Curve: objects. You can review these input examples, and maybe use the inputs from these examples to get you started.  However, it is best to use performance data for your specific coil to generate the required curve fit inputs for you EnergyPlus simulation.

Hello all

For setting the parameters for the Coil: DX: Single Cooling, 5 curves are needed. Is there any method for getting these curves? Ore like in the engineering reference for fans, there are 2 recomended curves parameters for constant or variable flow? I did just copy the parameters of one exemple but it is not working out :(. My coil is a self-conteined DX, water condensed from the dam barrage water, 33,6 KW. Thanks 4 who will help :)
