Since we know that direct beam is about 2.5 to 1 ratio Summer to Winter at 40 deg latitude with no cloud cover and this is less..........the sun is high overhead all year. The drop outs in Jun, Oct, Nov are from large storms / hurricanes. They take 4 to 7 days to pass, blowing that month's daily average insolation given in wh/m2, probably on a horizontal surface.
