RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Air-cooled condenser inlet dry-bulb temperature below 0 C.

The input object ZoneVentilation can be used to mimic free cooling as from opening a window.  (But you could quickly end up with a heating load.)

That warning gets ignored by most users.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Air-cooled condenser inlet dry-bulb temperature below 0 C.

Earlier this question was posted by John Grando on Nov 5. I am also having similar prpblem for Atlanta Climate. I hope that somebody will answer. Here is the question:

I have an issue with a HVAC Template: PTAC system. I get the below warning for New York City climate.

** Warning ** Coil:Cooling: DX:SingleSpeed "2-4L PTAC COOLING COIL" - Air-cooled condenser inlet dry-bulb temperature below 0 C. Outdoor dry-bulb temperature = -2.20
** ~~~ ** ... Occurrence info = WINTERDESIGNDAY, 01/02 11:45 - 12:00
** ~~~ ** ... Operation at low ambient temperatures may require special performance curves.

It seems like I have an issue with cooling when the outdoor temperature should be low enough to not need a PTAC unit. Can anyone guide me on how to model someone opening a window to let in cold air or some type of free cooling mode so that the PTAC unit does not try to operate? Thank you.
