Actually, (hopefully) if you use EP-Launch and "check for updates" you will see a page that will explain things. If not, use the "View entire update list on web". ( http://apps1. eere.energy. gov/buildings/ energyplus/ update/epupdate. htm )
Windows 7 needed some recompiles in the Intel compiler we use and we didn't have that prior to release.
Follow the instructions to download the updates.
