[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Daylighting in Energy Plus

You can produce a rectangular array of data points at which the illuminance is reported. I recommend doing it through IDF Editor, but here's an example. The only limitation is that the illuminance reported is from daylight only, but it sounds like that's what you're after. The MAP file contains the illuminance values for each timestep. There's a max grid size of 10 by 10. Keeping this on the lower end seems to keep simuations fast.

Output:IlluminanceMap,
    Illuminance Map,         !- Name
    MAIN,                    !- Zone Name
    0.8,                     !- Z height {m}
    0.5,                       !- X Minimum Coordinate {m}
    23.5,                      !- X Maximum Coordinate {m}
    10,                      !- Number of X Grid Points
    0.5,                       !- Y Minimum Coordinate {m}
    4.5,                       !- Y Maximum Coordinate {m}
    5;                      !- Number of Y Grid Points
