Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Does anybody know how to model an ideal room without heat loss

Liam, Dr Li and Ned Lyon,
Thanks a lot.
I simulate this room since I want to start with a simple one.
Do you know how to create an IDF file for a HVAC in the room with several DX air conditioners, coolers and an air plenum in the room?

This solution may not work, as the outdoor environment is changing, unless you use the DesignDay simulation with a constant outside temperature.

You can make the walls, floor, and roof adiabatic by making the other side condition the same as the inside temperature.

It is more difficult with the windows, and you may have to block it with a shade or blind, making trnsmittance to zero.

The other way is to make all the heat conductivity of the material used to zero. (0.00000001, if the program crashes.)

Why do you need such as room?  an ice box?

Make the inside conditions the same as the outside conditions

Does anybody know how to model an ideal room without heat loss through the walls and windows?
