RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Conversion weather data into epw

EnergyPlus weather data (EPW) is just comma-separated text.  If you can define the format and conversions from your data to EPW, the WeatherConverter can handle it.

Check out .DEF (definitions) in the Auxiliary Programs Guide:  http://energyplus.gov/pdfs/auxiliaryprograms.pdf

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Conversion weather data into epw

Hello,

We're collecting our own weather data with a Davis Ventage Pro 2 weather station.

For research purposes, we would need our own weather data instead of the provided weather data based on TMY-data.

Does someone know a way of how to convert collected weather data into a weather file which can be read by EnergyPlus?

My guess would be to set up an xls file in a way that can be read by program that converts xls data into an epw, tmy, etc. weather data.

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards,
Stefan Bader
