Thanks Linda. You are referring to the EMS Application Guide correct?
I see a complete description of the runtime language and EMS calling point in the documentation, no where do I see a description of how to call scripts outside of EnergyPlus (example a custom control program written in C/java/python/etc... that allows for the read-in of EnergyPlus variables, custom algorithms and output back into EnergyPlus to be called at each time step). I require operations more complex than Erl can presently handle. Could you please refer to a page number?
